Minutes July minutes approved with one change (new business)
Treasurer’s Report Balance forward of $2256.95 with one check written to ENVP. 3 new memberships not yet deposited. Report approved.
Old Business The POW flag is 3 x 5. Discussion regarding the whereabouts of the extra U.S. flag we had. Further discussion tabled until next meeting.
Ongoing Reports
2. Development Committee: None
3. Events Committee: None/Theresa suggested a neighborhood yard sale with proceeds being donated to ENVP. Discussion tabled until next meeting.
4. Hoffman Park: No news
5. Membership Committee: 3 new members – Barbara will get info to us at next meeting.
6. Publicity Committee: Newsletter to be delivered
7. Safety/Homeland Security: August is “preparedness month”. Discussion regarding Loren putting together a list of emergency items for our homes and put this info in the newsletter. Any graffiti issues should be directed to Myke.
8. Web Site Committee: Ray is diligently working on it.
New Business: Monique thanked us for the flowers we sent when she was hospitalized. The resurface project will start in the fall. A letter will go out to prior to the start date. Discussion regarding how to get on the list for the Cot newsletter and “Go Green II” fair.
Loren gave a recap of the Sevilli clean up project. Monique said she can put up a few of the pictures that were taken in Nina’s office. Mary Ann says that according to ENVP. They only have one person to do yard work.
Steve brought up that he had inherited a pit mix dog. If anyone may know to whom it belongs, let him know. Issues with people driving around the bridge into the alley. Corner neighbor is complaining. Proposed we put some boulders and rock to deter anyone driving through. 2 boulders and the gravel will total $223.50. Steve has already ordered and will be delivered Saturday. Motion made and vote taken to pay for this from our funds.
Discussion re getting the City to mow the alley. Rick volunteered his riding mower. Just let him know.
