Guests:  Sara Vasquez/Victor Caballos – new to Rosemont neighborhood

Monique Martin also present: Notified the board of the Ward 6 leaders meeting on September 17th at

6 p.m. Ray and Loren will try to go. “Go Green” was a big success. There were lots of great ideas on hand. It was mentioned again  about putting up pictures in Nina’s office.  Also, there is room at the ward office for archive storage. Loren will check it out.

Vandalism problems on Cooper: what can we do/who to call. Monique has a contact at TPD who is very diligent with investigating.

Treasurer’s Report    Not ready

 

Old Business              POW flag tabled until October meeting

 

Ongoing Reports

  1. Bylaws Committee: Changes tabled until next meeting. Absentees need to be notified.
  2. Development Committee: None

3.   Events Committee: None

4.   Hoffman Park: The owl has returned much to everyone’s delight

5.   Membership Committee: None

6.   Publicity Committee: None

7.   Safety/Homeland Security: Loren and Brad to set meeting and try to get more involved so as to possibly train others. Myke passed out pie chart re graffiti abatement.

8.   Web Site Committee: Site is up. Barb Haffner made some suggestions for additions such as adding all board members under ‘contacts”. Voted and approved to pay for e-mail address.

 

New Business:

Discussion re City wide reps meeting

Mary Ann presented a plaque from ESNV to us for their appreciation and also gave some statistics on the

program.

Loren read a thank you letter from the Mr. Sevilli
