Ongoing Reports

  1. Bylaws Committee: Voted to change “term of service” and absence verbage.  Adopted bylaws committee 7/17/2007 recommendations items 1 and 3 as written, and 8/18/2007 recommendations with the word “eliminated” changed to “removed.”  All board members had received copies of the proposed changes including the word change prior to September 23.
  2. Development Committee: 5151 is at a standstill

3.   Events Committee: Theresa will host her annual Christmas carol party the 20th of December starting at 6:00 p.m.

4.   Hoffman Park: The light by the eucalyptus tree is out/off leash law fine increased/weird critter in the hood?

5.   Membership Committee: None

6.   Publicity Committee: Discussed adding info re  5151 and pumpkin sales. Bill Swink will handle the billboard at the triangle.

7.   Safety/Homeland Security: It was brought to our attention that someone had been accosted recently and to be on the look out for a “lurker”.

8.   Web Site Committee: Look for changes to website/it is up and running!

 

New Business:

Discussion re needing a signature for proxy vote/will investigate further how deal with this situation.

Starting in November, roll call will be either A (absent) or P (present).
